Privacy Policy

This document explains the rules that apply to Better Gate and how information is handled and protected.

Effective date: July 13, 2026

Freesia Labs LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Better Gate website, console, client applications, API gateway, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when providing the Services.

1. Scope

This policy applies to Better Gate websites, accounts, AI gateway services, client applications, technical support, and other services that link to this policy. Third-party model providers, cloud platforms, payment processors, and external websites process information under their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Account and organization information, such as your name, email address, login credentials, organization name, member role, and account settings.
  • Transaction and billing information, such as top-ups, usage charges, orders, invoices, and payment status. Complete payment card details are generally processed directly by payment providers.
  • Service usage information, such as API key identifiers, request time, selected model and route, token usage, cost, response status, errors, IP address, device, and browser information.
  • AI request data. To complete a request, we may temporarily process prompts, input, files, model responses, and related context, and transmit necessary content to the model provider you select or to which the request is routed.
  • Support and communications, including messages, contact details, and troubleshooting information submitted through email, WeChat or WeCom communities, or other channels.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure site performance, and provide online support.

Do not submit identity documents, health information, payment card numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information unless it is necessary and the relevant feature expressly supports it.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and maintain accounts, organizations, credits, and API keys;
  • route and process AI requests and calculate usage and charges;
  • provide client applications, the console, support, and sales communications;
  • monitor reliability and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • improve service performance, product experience, and documentation;
  • meet contractual, financial, tax, and legal obligations; and
  • send service notices or product communications with consent or as otherwise permitted by law.

Unless we clearly state otherwise or obtain your authorization, we do not intentionally use private AI request content to train general-purpose public models.

4. How information is shared

We share information only as needed to provide the Services or as permitted by law, including with:

  • Model and cloud providers that receive the data needed to complete requests routed to their models, platforms, or upstream channels.
  • Infrastructure and service providers supporting hosting, databases, monitoring, email, payments, analytics, and customer support.
  • Organization administrators, who may access member, credit, API key status, usage, and billing information for their organization.
  • Authorities or other parties for legal and safety reasons when necessary to comply with legal process, protect users or the public, or enforce our rights.
  • Parties to a business transaction involving a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of assets.

We do not sell personal information. Different AI routes may involve different upstream providers, so you should select routes and models appropriate for the sensitivity of your data.

5. Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services, complete transactions, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on data type, account status, contractual requirements, and applicable law. After account deletion, certain billing records, security logs, or backups may remain for a limited period.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, transport protection, audit logging, and permission separation. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Keep your credentials and API keys confidential, rotate compromised keys promptly, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. International processing

Better Gate and its providers may process information outside your country or region. We take reasonable measures to protect cross-border transfers as required by applicable law.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of personal information, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing. Requests may be limited by identity verification, contractual, billing, security, or legal retention requirements.

You can manage some information in account settings or submit a request to [email protected].

9. Minors

The Services are not intended for anyone below the legal age of majority in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our Services or legal requirements change. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and update the effective date on this page.
